Texas Reskilling Support Fund Grant Program

If the COVID-19 pandemic adversely affected your employment or college education, the University of St. Thomas recently received a $300,000 Texas Reskilling Support Fund Grant to help students who need financial assistance to go or return to college.  This Grant Program supports displaced Texas workers affected by the pandemic who need to reskill or upskill to get back into the workforce and Texas students who have previously stopped out of higher education institutions without completing a postsecondary credential.

Eligible students must file the FAFSA form and be eligible for federal student aid, and also must affirm they have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.  UST’s FAFSA code is 003654. This grant money is for new, non-degreed students who have not been enrolled in the University of St. Thomas in the past six months.  Classes begin fall 2022.
